Founder & CEO

Dr. Mohamad Hamade is the founder of LUMIO Capital, a leading firm focused on high-impact ventures in healthcare and education. With over 15 years of expertise in strategic planning, governance, and business development, he has led transformative investments across emerging markets. Dr. Mohamad spearheaded the creation of the first private healthcare platform in the Balkan region, featuring a 180-bed hospital and 12 labs and polyclinics. Previously, as CEO of a Dubai-listed investment company managing nearly USD 1 billion in assets, he achieved 28-fold profit growth and executed transactions worth USD 2 billion.

He has served on multiple boards, including ASA Medical, Aegis Ventures, Middlesex University Dubai, Taaleem Holdings PJSC, Abu Dhabi University, NEMA Holdings, Cambridge Medical and Rehab Hospital, SABIS Alumni, LVL Wellness, and others and earned recognition as Forbes Middle East’s Top 50 Healthcare Leader, Top 100 Executives by Arabian Business, Young Arab Leaders, and Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Dr. Mohamad holds an MD and BSc from the American University of Beirut, an MBA from Cornell University, and a Research Fellowship from Harvard Medical School
